-If I want to see a movie, I go to an online website that shows movies for free or go onto Netflix.

-A movie earns money for the movie studio that owns it by people buying admissions to go the the theaters to watch it or buy dvd's in order to watch them and all the money they gain from selling dvd's and admission entries are sent to the movie studios that owned the movie.

-The people who profit from a movie are the actors, technisions, directors, and everyone who helped contribute in making the movie
4. What happens when a movie makes no profits?
-When a movie makes no profit then the people who contributed to making the movie get no money.

Spoofing is a fake copy of a film that is uploaded into the Internet or a fake listing for bootleg film on a sharing site. This strategy is not always effective in stopping film piracy is because other Internet quickly alert others that the file being shared is fake.

-The short-term effect of film piracy is that bootleg copies of films cut into the profits of the movie studios.(loss of billions of dollars)

-The long-term effect of film piracy is loss of profit which means less money to budget for new films.

-If someone came into my house and took a camera or a DVD player without my knowledge or my permission, then i would consider that stealing. I say this because by law if someone does not ask for permission or purchase it to take it then it is called stealing. The situation is not different from someone downloading from the Internet an illegal copy of a movie because they do not ask for permission or purchase the authority to do so then it is still stealing.
